New build! Barring any quadplay or itch-specific issues to fix in the build itself, this should be the final feature-complete version of the game.

New stuff that went in since the version I initially published on Wednesday:

  • Fixed softlock when a player uses a red arrow to flip a hex containing a CPU player
  • Added full 3-minute soundtrack from Calamity Range (not just a 4-bar loop)
  • Improved trippy audio-synced graphical effects
  • At least two players are now required before the game can be started
  • Fixed softlock on the first turn of the game if player 1 was set to "NONE"
  • New victory condition: if only one player has any hexes of their color, they win (highly unlikely, but possible!)
  • Slightly smarter AI:
    • If the AI has a move that will win the game, it takes it
    • The AI will now use its red arrows more effectively
    • Eliminate a subtle spatial bias in AI's move selection algorithm that caused Bots 2 and 4 to reliably beat Bots 1 and 3.
  • Balance tweaks:
    • All players are more likely to get red arrows when they're farther from the lead
    • All players are much less likely to get moves that can't possibly flip any hexes. (It can still happen though, but only if the player's opponents force it to happen. Commence strategizing!)
  • Reencoded PNG/MP3 assets to reduce download size
