There are a handful of easter eggs we tucked into Don’t Get Wet, and I regularly forget how to trigger them. Since the game’s been out for well over a year, I figure I can just document them officially for anybody who’s curious.

In all cases, the Easter Egg is activated on the character/team select screen, by pushing some sequence of Up and Down followed by TIC-80’s Y button (it’s mapped to the ‘S’ key on my keyboard; your mileage may vary). Easter Eggs may be enabled by any player.

Play As The Devs:

• Cort (programming, music, design): Up, Down, Up, Down, Y
• Donald (art): Up, Down, Down, Up, Y
• Peter (additional design): Down, Down, Down, Up, Y
• Violet (additional art): Up, Up, Up, Down, Up, Y

Questionable Life Choices:

• “Yerrik Dream Mode” (you’ll see…): Up, Up, Down, Up, Down, Down, Y
