Christine Taxi
Christine Taxi follows Stephen King's otherworldly '58 Plymouth Fury after her mishap with a car crusher. Guide her on a top-down killing spree as she finds new purpose in a strange city.
Christine has turned over a new leaf, and now she's all about helping people — people who are mad at deadbeat gamblers, cheating significant others, and noisy neighbors. Her unique method of conflict resolution is in high demand.
- Self-driving cars that are every bit as safe and carefully engineered as real-world robotaxis. (And they're equally responsible for the legal consequences of their actions!)
- Dish out vengeance and get people to their destinations on time.
- Kind of like a mashup of Crazy Taxi and the original Grand Theft Auto?
And sure, you might catch on fire, but the farther she travels, the faster Christine heals. That's her whole deal!
Controls
Arrow keys to move. In the Pause menu (Enter key), you can swap between "tank" and "direct" control modes. Tank (the default) is probably better if you played a bunch of GTA back in the day, but Direct may be a better fit for touchscreen or gamepad input.
X key to confirm.
Z key to cancel.
Gameplay
-Stop in the colored circles to pick up passengers. (If the circle disappears, it's because you ran your passenger over.)
-Get to your destination before the timer hits zero. If it's an empty circle, park there. If there's a person in the circle, park on them.

The shift from minor to major in the music is a really fun touch!
A ridiculously high-effort PiCoSteveMo entry, as we have come to expect! I love all the little city simulation touches going on, and it's fun to drive around even if my brain rejects top down vehicle controls of either style for reasons I can't explain.
Extremely convincing self-driving AI!
